I've been wanting an excuse to make the 241 Tote ever since Anna posted it on Noodlehead.
So when I was trying to think of a design for a diaper bag, this immediately came to mind. I don't like my old diaper bag. Looks too much like, well, a diaper bag! I wanted to just have a larger bag without it being huge and bulky, and to have pockets for convenience, but still be stylish and fun, and something I can use when I no longer need a diaper bag. PERFECT!
I used some of my favorite Amy Butler fabric (something else I was looking for the perfect excuse to use).
Anna's pattern was so simple to follow, perfect for people like me who overthink things and take short cuts when something appears to be too complicated.

I am so in love with this bag. I can't wait to use it! (And make another one)

It's so pretty! love the fabrics you used! I haven't tried to make a bag yet although I make pillows and curtains all the time, it seems so difficult..I guess I just have to get over my fear and try it:)
